about:My name is Lissy (Elle) Laricchia (luh-rick-yuh) and I started a 365 project on May 7th 2009 and learned more than I ever could have imagined. I however let my perfectionism get the best of me and for the final 5 months I took photos 24/7 (no exaggeration) during the worst of storms, the coldest of days, the most inopportune of times. Through terrible sickness, through injury, through tears and lack of inspiration. However much I learned, I neglected my family and friends for one year as I went on an obsessive-compulsive rampage. I cried with relief when I'd finished, and although I regretted nothing I knew I could never do it again.
But here I am one year later, so excited to start once more. I would like now to state something I could never own up to before. I am not perfect. Never will be. This 365 I want to try new things, have them not work out and then simply shrug it off. I want to not have any time, and take a picture of my reflection in the bathroom mirror. I want to be so devoid of inspiration that I toss my hair up at golden hour (who hasn't?). I want to document my year as I learn and grow without worrying what you think of me. So think nice things and we'll both come out smiling.
